Contract \ Contract-to-Hire Technical Writer (Salt Lake City, UT)
Responsible for the development and revision of departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs). This position will work closely with various departments and related groups, Business Owners and SMEs, to document procedures and related content, including the translation of business practices into user instructions and reference content. Must possess strong communication, written documentation and computer skills.
3-5 years experience required, preferably in technical publications and illustrations.
1-3 years documentation experience.
Strong experience deconstructing process flows and creating clear and concise procedural texts for technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience gathering, updating, and maintaining policy and procedure content with adequate version control.
Experience creating, publishing, and maintaining repositories for policies and procedures
Ability to effectively communicate with team members and management.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Visio. Experience with Sharepoint preferred, but not required.
Ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously.Must have great communication and writing abilities
