Atterro has partnered with Samsung Telecommunications America on an exciting, contract opportunity in the East Plano area for a Technical Writer!
Technical Writer
-Responsible for managing the development of online content for customer support functions for mobile phones and other devices through a third party vendor.
-Reviews, edits, and posts all content received from vendor into website?s CMS.
-Revises and creates content for ad hoc requests, special projects, and software updates.
-Content will cover device issues, commonly asked questions, call drivers, how to guides, troubleshooting content, and software updates.
-Writes, reviews, edits and removes online content as necessary.
-Determines proper format for content assets and edits content length or format accordingly.
-Ensures all content follows Samsung style guidelines.
-Advises content providers of procedures for developing and submitting content.
Manage the review and editing of new content.
-Track and report progress of online content development.

Requirements
Requirements
-2-4 years experience as a technical writer with online content
-Experience editing and revising technical online content
-Proficient with Dreamweaver and Notepad
-Experience writing online content of a technical nature
-Experience in the mobile phone industry or telecommunication industry preferred
-High School diploma required
