Eze Software Group (Eze Software) is seeking a Technical Communications Specialist to join the Eze OMS™ Technical Communications Team in its Boston office. The Eze OMS™, Eze Software Group’s award-winning order management system (OMS), has been a market leader since its launch in 1995. It is used by over 500 investment managers to streamline their investment process. The Eze OMS™ provides the functionality to support Portfolio Modeling & Analytics, Compliance, Trading, Operations, and Data Management.

We are looking for an extremely self-motivated, independent, and personable Technical Communications Specialist to join a dynamic team of technical writers in our Boston office responsible for producing and maintaining an expansive library of product documentation content. The successful candidate must be able to learn, adapt flexibly, and excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while quickly understanding and effectively communicating complex technical concepts to multiple audiences.

· Research complex, unfamiliar technical concepts using multiple sources in order to develop, write, and deliver high-quality end-user product documentation resources that meet the shifting demands and deadlines of a rapid software release schedule.

· Collaborate with members of cross-functional teams to gather product information and develop documentation resources such as release notes, help files, knowledge bases, quick-start guides, installation guides, Wikis, and implementation guides.

· Work with senior team members to determine the appropriate scope and schedule for documentation projects while adapting flexibly to unexpected changes and effectively prioritizing multiple tasks.

· Bachelor’s degree required.

· College degree, minor, or relevant coursework in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Design, or User Experience a plus.

· 0-5 years of professional writing experience.

· Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills required, including the ability to effectively communicate complex technical and financial concepts to multiple audiences, the ability to adapt flexibly to unexpected project scope and/or deadline changes, and the ability to independently research, gather. And synthesize information in an ambiguous or unstructured environment.

· Superior time management, organization, research, analytical, and critical thinking, and investigative skills preferred.

· Is highly self-motivated, independent, confident, personable, assertive, resourceful, and creative.

· Solid understanding of computer software development, programming, and/or applications a plus.

· Familiarity with bug tracking, source control, and content management systems a plus.

· Solid understanding of HTML, XML, and CSS a plus, particularly as applied to single-sourced documentation publishing.

· Experience using authoring tools (such as MadCap Flare or Adobe RoboHelp), SharePoint, and Adobe PhotoShop a plus.
