The Senior Technical Writer will report to the Director of Platform Training and will be responsible for writing a variety of documentation, including technical articles, user manuals, reports, brochures, and training guides. In addition, you will work closely with the software development, product, marketing and business development teams to ensure high-quality, accurate documentation for internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities include:  
  • Experience writing a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and manuals for a wide range of users (Must be able to supply samples)
  • In-depth knowledge of software development cycles, numerical and mathematical models and the RTB/Digital Media Ecosystem
  • Design and organize documentation sets for new APIs and developer products
  • Edit, clarify, and proofread documents written by others, and coach non-writers on ways to improve their writing skills
  • Experience in programming and digital market terminology for structured and organic processes
  • Experience documenting a software user interface
  • Experience writing for a software developer or quantitative audience as well as for the business end-user
  • In-depth knowledge of the digital space, project management workflow, AGILE, advertising, online auction, RTB and Algorithms

Education Requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong MS Word, Excel, Adobe PDF and  HTML
  • Coordination skills for graphic displays and the production of the document as necessary
  • Ability to read and understand source code written in Java, C++, Python and/or JavaScript
  • Ability to write simple to complex code examples in Java, C++, Python and/or JavaScript
  • Proficiency with HTML and CSS; proficiency in a UNIX environment
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
