Full-Time Senior Technical Writer (Austin, TX)
Job Description
Vaco Technology is hiring a senior technical writer for a direct-hire opportunity off of scenic 360.
A successful candidate will have a mastery of authoring XML-based documentation including extensive experience with XSL-FO/XSLT.
About the role:
As the senior tech writer, you will take part in an agile development process and work with a small team of writers to author strong, consistent documentation.
You’ll be collaborating with software development teams, working one-on-one with engineers and subject matter experts and have direct exposure to the installation and use of products. Through web-based collaboration platforms, you will manage the publication and maintenance of documentation.
Qualifications:
– At least 4 years of experience writing software technical publications
– Strong background developing XML-based documentation
– Superior experience with XSL-FO/XSLT
– Network management domain experience a plus
All candidates must be prepared to share writing samples (including those written for a technical audience).
