Job description
The Senior Technology Consultant is responsible for defining and developing repeatable and/or customized ECM (Enterprise Content Management) solutions using SharePoint or Documentum. This includes managing the entire ECM systems full life cycle including requirements and specification, database and data architecture, system design and architecture, workflow, and other object development, and the qualification of final product via user acceptance testing, pilots, benchmarking, reporting, pre-production testing and operational readiness at the time of delivery.Other responsibilities include:
– Performing development planning for the upgrade to future versions of SharePoint or Documentum, including updates to the integrated product suite.
– Researching and recommending new technologies, development tools and development methodologies.
– Creating high quality design documentation based on standard UML; (workflow use cases, context diagrams, class models).
– Developing operational documentation.

Candidate should have experience in one or more of the following:
– Writing complex application program code using high level programming languages and tools to support all applications to support Sharepoint 2010 deployments. This includes the use of Java, Visual Basic, .Net and SQL.
– System administration functions including technical and functional applications configurations, interfaces and development to meet our customer’s needs for enterprise content management (ECM) technologies such as SharePoint, KnowledgeLake, Documentum and others.
– Development and deployment of various types of configuration and application components including object models, security, alias sets, workflow/business process management, lifecycles and user management.

Resources should reside in (or relocate to) Houston, TX.

Required
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • At least 3 years experience in designing and managing large enterprise systems. Strong technical skills.
  • At least 3 years experience in leading infrastructure and middleware
  • At least 3 years experience in Chemical and Petroleum Industry
  • At least 3 years experience in demonstrating strong team leadership skills
  • At least 3 years experience in demonstrating strong client relationship skills
  • Basic knowledge in Sharepoint
  • Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
  • English: Intermediate
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 5 years experience in designing and managing large enterprise systems. Strong technical skills.
  • At least 5 years experience in leading infrastructure and middleware
  • At least 5 years experience in Chemical and Petroleum Industry
  • At least 5 years experience in demonstrating strong team leadership skills
  • At least 5 years experience in demonstrating strong client relationship skills
