Job Description

A Technical Writer is needed to document standard operating procedures for the Next Generation Demand Response Team in St Petersburg, Florida.

Written procedures will represent information on how to operation and maintain substation, transmission, distribution & IT&T devices.

This position will work with subject matter experts to develop and document outlines, existing process maps and requirements. Existing procedures may need to be updated,  however most procedures will be new.

The selected individual will also work with a business process team, writing training documentation.

 Qualifications:

• Highly motivated individual able to write new operating procedures based on design documentation
• Flow maps, requirements descriptions, and existing procedure documents where applicable
• Technical SOP writing experience
• Experienced in using MS Word and Excel
• Strong writing skills
• Self motivated
• Comfortable working with subject matter experts in a project based environment
• Flexibility
• Experience with CaliberRM and WebMethods  preferred
• Knowledge of SmartGrid environments is a Plus
