The Role
To produce and maintain accurate and informative user guides, technical documentation and web content, primarily for use by customers preparing to use or using WorldPay products and Services.

Covers the support documentation and communications to existing customers, plus content for the support section of the website.
Key Accountabilities
•Maintain the current set of Business Gateway and Corporate Gateway support guides
•Produce new support guides as required
•Improve the usability and comprehensiveness of the support documentation
•Provide support for external communications to existing customers
•Pro vide new copy and updates for the website.
•Manage translation requirements via external agencies
•Provide support to Communications team as required
Skills & Experience
Critical Competencies: skills and abilities required for the role:

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
•Good organisation skills and ability to prioritise work load
•Eye for detail, methodical and consistent in approach
•Able to work independently, with minimal supervision

Experience:

•3 years’ plus experience as a technical author in a technical environment
•Experience in working in an agile environment is preferred, but not essential
•Experience of working in a financial environment and with software products
•Experience of working with online help and help authoring tools
•Experience of content reuse, preferred but not essential

Other Significant Role Requirements:

•Should be degree educated
•Flexible and able to work with multiple deliverables concurrently
Other
Technical Knowledge:
•Experience of creating online help using RoboHelp or similar tools.
•Understanding of MS word for producing technical documentation
•Basic graphic capture and manipulation (Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator preferred but not essential)
•Some understanding of HTML and authoring / editing tools
•Experience of creating documentation templates using RoboHelp or similar tools.
