Full-Time Product Marketing Writer, Technical Writer

At ABF we’re building amazing technology that gives developers and enterprises never before seen insights into their applications at scale. ABF was founded by experienced 2nd time entrepreneurs and is backed by Menlo Ventures. As an integral part of our marketing team you’ll report directly to our VP of marketing I and help shape the company’s marketing strategy.
As part of this role, you’ll take ownership of crafting the content for the company’s website, emails as well as assisting with social media activities, white-papers, presentations and additional collateral. You’ll be working closely with the company’s engineers, product managers and sales group to write world class materials that move people to action, and really move the needle.
You’ll be in close contact with the product and engineering team to write content that succinctly describe new features that are being pushed out on weekly basis. You’ll be working with marketing team to craft compelling emails and landing page copy and designs that move people to action. You’ll be working closely with the sales team to distill product information into collateral that helps win deals.
Most importantly, you’re willing to step in a job where you’d be constantly taken out of your comfort zone to experiment with new things and take on new challenges and responsibilities. Creativity and collaboration is not only encouraged, it’s expected.
Requirements
• 3-5 years of experience writing for the web and app software industry (SaaS and B2B are preferred).
• Experience in crafting concise and powerful messaging and copy around new products and features. Scrupulous editing and revision skills; laser-like attention to detail
• Have a love for super technical products and all things geeky, and the ability to write in both a technical and casual voice.
• Experience in working closely with web design to produce materials that combine stunning graphics with beautifully crafted copy and messaging.
• Experience in working with a CMS such as WordPress, Drupal.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced startup environment highly desired.
• Not allergic to collaboration.
• Must not be afraid of monsters –
