In order to provide our customers with top-notch support documentation, we’re looking for a Technical Writer to help us with that effort. You’ll get to do what you love – write – so your co-workers can get back to doing what they love – providing a fantastic experience.Here is what you get to do:
- Work on emerging projects for both domestic and international markets, covering an array of products and features
- Partner with a broad range of internal teams to document what it takes to make our customers successful
- Create and maintain a ‘best in class’ suite of knowledge, including development of an organization strategy that makes information easily accessible to everyone who needs it
- Showcase your project management skills by managing and prioritizing multiple documentation requests simultaneously
- Help shape the department by implementing processes and procedures and defining best practices
Here is what you will need to be successful:
- 3-5 years of technical writing experience required
- BA/BS degree required, Masters degree preferred
- Proven experience creating documentation for the Business-to-Business space
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe FrameMaker
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing large projects involving multiple writers
- Excellent interview skills, with ability to cut through the fog to identify the requester’s needs and address them, sometimes with little guidance
- Quick learner with technical aptitude
- Impeccable communication style – both written and verbal
- Self-starter attitude with ability to execute on deadlines
- Flexibility, with willingness to shift gears as needs change
