Job Description
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations Can independently develop entry and advanced level courses for both internal and external audiences. Able to utilize multimedia technology and authoring tools. Candidate should have knowledge of application tools such as Articulate, Captivate, and Flash etc. This role will take the lead from the Global Design & Development Manger to prioritize and process all activity. The Instructional Designer resource will work with Program Managers, Subject Matter Experts and other training team members to design and maintain top quality courses.•This role will utilize various internal tools and applications (described above). Must follow existing defined processes and procedures that are present within the organization. Rapid development and timelines as well as innovation are a plus. •There will also be a requirement to maintain existing courseware, assist in reviews and follow feedback guidelines that will apply to updating courseware. Specific Knowledge/Skills Minimum of five years of instructional design experience. Designs and develops instructional material for customer training courses that support company technical products. Demonstrates and utilizes effective needs analysis, project management, course development, and evaluation skills. Understanding of accredited Design & Development organizations and standardized ID processes and best practices. Desire to learn strategies and processes from a leading technology company. Background in training and technology is required. Willing to contribute towards the innovation of rapid development and top quality learning. |
