JOB SUMMARY:
Maintain all system technical reference documents including user manuals, training guides, network architecture diagrams, data description and operational flow diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOP), standard installation procedures (SIP), life-cycle process documents, system schedules, and system security plans.
May perform one of more of the following duties:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Documenting IT Services management procedures, SOP and compliance documentation related to security audits, HIPAA, NIST, FIPS and CMS
  2. Assist team members in developing documentation that is clear and understandable.
  3. Maintain documentation in a standard format following established guidelines.
  4. Conduct SME interview to gather detailed information about processes, procedures and applications that can be documented and stored in SharePoint.
  5. Prepare diagrams and exhibits to explain the proposed system to managers and users in understandable format.
  6. Manage and maintain the SharePoint document repository as a collaboration and reference tool for the team members.
  7. Perform quality control tasks on all documentation packages to be delivered to client.
 JOB DUTIES:
  1. Maintain documentation to current standards and current network/server configuration.
  2. Maintain and update SharePoint document library.
  3. All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. 3+ years of technical writing experience in Operations Procedures Writing
  2. Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  3. Security and Compliance experience. Such as NIST, HIPAA and/or CMS
  4. Excellent writing skills.
  5. Have a demonstrable technical aptitude, basic enterprise networking concepts.
  6. Ability to understand and convert highly technical language into plain language.
  7. Ability to work independently or as a member of a team.
