Contract \ Contract-to-Hire Technical Writer (MadCap) (Hopkinton, MA)
Job Description
nSight is seeking a seasoned and highly technical writer with project management skills for work at a large data storage company on-site in Hopkinton, MA. Besides working with technical staff in a teamwork-driven environment and writing or integrating complex information for a variety of audiences, this writer must have expert-level MadCap Flare experience and the following requirements:
Developing and editing CSS for Flare (V7.0 or higher)
Developing both context-sensitive help and help for GUI-based web apps
Creating Flare templates, skins and styles for web, print (required) and mobile output (a plus)
Converting help from Robohelp (V8.0) to Flare, and Framemaker to Flare
Developing new or modify existing programs and/or processes
Creating conditional outputs
Bachelors degree (non-technical) or equivalent
8 – 12 years experience
