Prepare illustrations, diagrams, graphs, charts, or other appropriate graphic medium for various presentation media as MS Power Point briefing slides, reports, user manuals, training materials. writing documentation for a Procurement Plan, System Dependency Chart, Change Management Plan, and Quality Assurance Plan. The documents will be developed using MS Word, Five (5) years of experience and expertise MS Excel, MS Visio and MS PowerPoint. Experience in completing a System Design Document (SDD), such as importing illustrations and drawings from Microsoft Visio. One (1) year of experience in compiling information for complex Department of Defense systems to produce technical documents as stated in the SOW. The Technical Writer should be familiar with DoD terminology and DoD Information Technology terminology. |

Specific Job Description | Position is located in Omaha, NE: Blue Sky/Task Order/IDIQ/ CONTINGENT UPON TASK ORDER AWARD AND CUSTOMER APPROVAL OF CANDIDATE. Experience and expertise with Microsoft Word, Visio and PowerPoint, and in utilizing this knowledge to complete a systems transition document. Illustrations and drawings will need to be imported from Microsoft Visio and AutoCAD into the document. Will assist in writing documentation for an Installation Strategy, Procurement Strategy, System Dependency Chart, Requirements Traceability Matrix, and Configuration Management Strategy. The completed document will be formatted in MS Word and converted into PDF file for distribution. Will attend USSTRATCOM meetings, and team meetings and assist in document design review. Prepare layout and draft artwork for illustrations, charts, figures, and other mediums. Edit, proofread and perform general organizing of documents. Edit grammar and spelling, and check for consistency in font and style throughout the document. Edit document for consistency in the use of IT (Networks, Information Services, Audio Visual, and C2 System) terminology and acronyms. Generate and add titles, labels, tags, nameplates, and headings to documents or equipment. Generate dynamic Table of Content, dynamic list of figures, list of tables, dynamic page numbering with different page numbers for different sections (table of content, main document, and appendices).
