Job Title Technical Writer
Job Responsibilities Our culture empowers us to do things that other companies would find very difficult, if not impossible. It’s uniquely ViaSat and intentionally not like any other company.Our Engineering department is looking for a Technical Writer for our Tactical data Link (TDL) group.  The selected candidate will be the technical writer for the TDL group to write, illustrate and edit proposals, technical manuals, data sheets, ViaSat product Power Point presentations, white papers, as well as supporting new TDL programs.
Requirements
    • Excellent working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Adobe InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator, DreamWeaver and Acrobat Professional
    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
    • U.S. government position.  U.S. citizenship required.
Preferences
    • Knowledge/experience working with SharePoint and DOORS so as to be the SharePoint administrator for TDL group and assist with DOORS configurations.
