Contract \ Contract-to-Hire Senior Technical Writer for Teradata

– Location: San Diego, CA

In this role, you will:
– Collaborate with an established and experienced group of writers, information architects, and project managers, who are all about collaboration and supporting each other
– Be trained on DITA, minimalist documentation, and our new, cutting-edge CMS
– Learn new technologies while supporting an extensive base of customers
An ideal candidate will have:
– A solid technical writing background
– A team-player willing to work collaboratively to produce extraordinary results
– Flexibility, as you juggle and prioritize multiple tasks
– Respect for process and consistency, as well as readiness to embrace new technologies and ways of doing things
– A curious nature, and confidence to ask questions
– A writing background and bachelor’s degree, and a technical background
– At least a few years of experience documenting complex technology, and some awareness and curiosity regarding agile methodologies and DITA
– System Admin or Database Admin a plus
