| Job Description: | Department Responsibilities: The senior technical writer in this role is responsible for working as a part of a team to create accurate and professional technical documentation, demos, examples, tutorials, videos and tech notes for FICO customers and for internal FICO development teams.Roles and Responsibilities: The senior technical writer in this role will work on more or more Agile teams to create accurate and professional technical information for external and internal customers in a format that is appropriate for the audience. Possible formats include written documentation, demos, examples, tutorials, videos or tech notes. Working Conditions: On site in an office environment in San Jose. |

| Experience/Qualifications: | BA/BS degree with at least 5 years of technical writing or software development experience, or the equivalent combination of work experience and education—all candidates will be asked to provide writing samplesExperience documenting Web applications. Experience with object-oriented programming concepts. Proven ability with English spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax and composition rules and a clear technical writing style. Experience writing topics in DITA. Experience with Adobe FrameMaker. Experience working in an Agile development environment. Experience creating videos is a plus. Experience writing API documentation and code samples is a plus. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Strong desire to learn new technologies and a passion for communicating this information to other people ~cb~ |
