Contract \ Contract-to-Hire SAP Instructional Designer (New York, NY)
Job Description
V. Wright & Associates, located in the United States, has been in business for more than 15 years, providing change management and training services throughout North America. We have an immediate need for a Training Developer\Trainer for a corporate client. The developer must have experience developing instructor led material as well as web-based training. The developer will be expected to create 3 levels of SAP training: Basic, Proficient, and Advanced for a SAP security topics. The topics for each course have been tentatively identified as:
Basic
- Role Definition Structures
- Role Assignment
- Monitoring
- Access Reviews
- Understanding of conflicts & abilities and explaining them to the business
- SUIM: search engine for SAP roles,
- Understanding of SSO
- PFCG
- Run SAPScript (under guidance)
- Profiles, Security tables US* AGR*
- Able to handle an existing business area
- Authorisation Objects
- User Master Record
- Abilities
- Conflicts
- Checkmate reporting, ZSU01, ZSE16
- IST
- Basic Abap Skills (Check Attributes, check for auth checks in programs)
Proficient
- Remaining SU* Transactions
- Request assessment – abilities / conflicts / requirements
- Understanding of SU53, How to find the right role, and understanding the Confilcts & abilities contained within
- Basic Sec. Trouble shooting.
- Able to train basic to be able to do basic sec. trouble shooting.
- Explain how to fix a conflict,
- Understand different SAP Platforms
- Knowledgeable of 2 platforms outside of own platform.
- Building roles using PFCG
- Build a sapscript
- SE* Transactions, to identify security requirements for technical objects
- SU24,
- SU10 – Mass changes
- SU21 – Transporting object changes
- Able to Debug abaps
- Able to trace across systems
Advanced
- Provide analysis and design for new security requirements. Ability to consult and provide security solution for complex projects
- use of SE* transactions for trouble shooting
- Tracking of debug usage
- Building security for new SAP technologies/platforms

- Identification of critical abilities
- Understanding of technical setup of security
The contract length has not been decided and the rate is negotiable. Background checks may be required.
