7+ Month Contract

Contract Terms: W2

 

Achieves operational training objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing project-level action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining training-process improvements; implementing change. Designs and develops PeopleSoft HCM & CRM instructional material for customer training courses that support HR Service Center transactional processes. Demonstrates and utilizes effective needs analysis, project management, course development, and evaluation skills. Can independently develop entry and advanced level courses for both internal and external audiences. Able to utilize multimedia technology and authoring tools. Acts as liaison between Organizational Readiness, Information Technology, Business Operations, and Learning Services business partners in determining performance needs and appropriate method of delivery. Conducts computer training needs assessment by collecting information pertaining to work procedures, work flow, and reports; understanding job-specific functions and tasks. Designs PeopleSoft-based technical training solutions by identifying and describing information needs; using desktop publishing; submitting initial versions for review; revising and editing final copy. Potentially conducts training classes via ILT, WBT, or webinar as appropriate to designed training solution. Evaluates training by assessing effectiveness of training to specific job applications.

Minimum number of years of experience required:
3+ years of experience designing/developing training solutions preferably in a technical environment. Experience with training solutions in PeopleSoft HCM and CRM environments highly preferred.
1+ years managing training projects.
1+ year experience implementing training in a transactional business operations environment.
Preferred experience working in a call-center environment

Top 3 – 5 Daily responsibilities:
Design/Develop/Implement transactional processing technical instruction program,
Consult with project leadership and existing Learning Services staff to determine both short-term training solutions and a long-term sustainability plan.
Manage PeopleSoft-based training projects

Top 3 – 5 Required Skills:
Ability to design and develop training that supports use of  PeopleSoft HCM and CRM systems
Instructional Systems Design & Development for ILT and WBT,
Project/Program Management of Instructional/Organizational Readiness initiatives

Desired skills:
Able to deliver instructor-led or virtual training
Able to consult with IT business partners and Business Process Improvement (Six Sigma) specialists on integrated solutions
Ability to develop web-based training using Articulate Studio and Oracle’s User Productivity Kit (UPK)

Soft Skills

Project is currently in Analysis phase. This position will support the Solution Analysis, Design/Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages of the project.

Educational Requirement: M.A. degree or equivalent experience in Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or related field OR Equivalent Experience + Bachelor degree.
