Job Description: INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER, School of Nursing, University of Houston-Victoria. Full-time position located at UH Sugar Land campus. Provides instructional design support for faculty, develops on-line course material and programs, operate and maintain patient simulators. Designs and programs UHV School of Nursing web pages and website.
Required: Master’s degree in instructional design, computer science or related field and (1) year related experience. Broad technical knowledge of instructional design, web development, related technologies, and simulation scenarios; excellent interpersonal skills to consult with faculty and interact with students; ability to work independently with minimal supervision; and ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment and act upon decisions within scope of delegated authority. Proficiency with PC software applications in windows environment; proficiency with HTML coding, databases and web programming; and extensive experience with web-interface programs and instructional software applications.
