Full-Time Instructional Designer (San Diego, CA)
Job Description
Position Summary:
The Instructional Designer produces updates to existing training courses, designs new courses that address company needs and creates new interactive elements for the course curriculum. The majority of these courses will be eLearning but also includes courses that will be instructor-led webinars as well as traditional classroom presentations.
The instructional designer will manage the timely delivery of all training to company clients as well as oversee and administer the learning management system to ensure students are correctly enrolled and courses/systems are working properly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Manage course projects from inception to finish
•Update existing and develop new eLearning courses
•Manage the LMS
•Monitortraining needs to ensure training is delivered in a timely fashion
Required Education/Experience:
•College degree in instructional technology, education, information technology, or curriculum design
•Minimum 3+ years related experience in developing elearning courses
•Proficient in using Adobe eLearning Suite, Captivate, Flash, Photoshop, etc.
Desired Experience/Skills
•Experience in administering an LMS
•Must be able to work well independently as well as effectively in a team orientation
•Must have exceptional written and verbal communications skills
