An internship position in the Center for Advanced Learning will provide an opportunity to work on innovative learning solutions. A Learning Developer performs needs analysis, designs, develops, and evaluates learning interventions as part of a project team including business stakeholders, subject matter experts, program owners, facilitators, and administrators.Specific tasks may include:o Setting performance objectives of learning o Designing learning based on performance objectives, research-based best practice of adult learning, and the evaluation strategy. o Developing deliverables such as blended learning materials, instructional guides, job aids, performance support, and technical documentation to support the delivery of classroom or virtual delivery environments. o Assess and communicate the impact of the deliverables and enhance based on feedback or changing business directions. The ideal candidate will have the ability to § translate a business need into an effective, innovative learning intervention which can be deployed by other members of the learning team. § manage constraints and expectations, developing the learning assets required by a learning design on-time, on-budget, and as expected. § evaluate the outcomes of learning intervention to obtain business impact metrics perceived as credible by our stakeholders and recognized as world-class by external professional organizations. |
