Full-Time Content Manager (San Bruno, CA)
-Develops strategic copy ontent to drive the online customer experience.
-Contributes to the development and implementation of Content strategy for assigned content center(s) (for example, Food and Recipe, Pet Care,
Health and Wellness) and seasonal campaigns.
-Assists in the development of websites, interactive tools, and other site experiences for new and existing content centers
-Maintains content guidelines and style guides for online editorial content to drive consistency and quality across the site.
-Provides insight and influence for the continuous improvement of assigned content center(s) (for example, Food and Recipe, Pet Care, Health and
Wellness) and seasonal campaigns.
-Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans.
-Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions.
Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
-Conceptualizes and writes engaging content for creative initiatives, campaigns, and projects (for example, point-of-view advertisements, marketing campaigns, landing pages
-Contributes to the development of the Content strategy
-Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments
-Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
-Maintains Walmart.com content guidelines and style guides
-Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates
-Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Creative Writing, Advertising, or related field and 2 years experience in copywriting OR 4 years experience in copywriting.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Enterprise CMS experience such as Ektron
2 years experience copywriting for online brand initiatives.
2 years experience copywriting in an online creative or related digital field.
2 years experience developing copy concepts in a retail or marketing environment.
3 years experience copywriting in a retail environment.
3 years experience working for or with creative agencies
nice to have: enterprise CMS experience
