Job Description
Apple Professional Development is looking for an Content Development Manager with special expertise in online learning. This position will be responsible for the creation and management of professional development content for online courses that focus on Apple products and technologies in the context of K-20 education. This role requires experience in creating and delivering education learning courses, knowledge of adult learning theory, and expertise in building online learning experiences. The candidate must be a seasoned professional with a proven track record demonstrating strong initiative, a dedicated work ethic, and project management expertise.
Key Qualifications
- Specific functional responsibilities include:
- Establish consistent process and instructional design for online learning courses
- Coordinate and collaborate with Apple Corporate Content and Marketing teams to leverage expertise and resources
- Collaborate with onsite content development team
- Define course needs
- Create course outlines
- Assess available content
- Identify and fill content gaps
- Seek credible content creator/partners where needed
- Review, edit, and approve all online content
- Post to iTunes U
- Plan for content update/refresh management
- Create and manage field sales marketing tools and communications about online offerings
