Job Description :
The FactSet Fundamentals Product Development team develops financial datasets through technology intensive processes that leverage the best of onshore knowledge capital with the cost benefits of offshore resources where appropriate.The Associate Content Manager is knowledgeable in financial statement reporting and how it translates into business analysis and related equity analysis methodologies. The position entails an understanding of relevant financial ratios and how individual company-by-company accounting practices can vary. The goal is to identify commonly reported financial details that can be used to aid in minimizing differences in company reporting practices, enabling product groups to create a standardized, comparable view of companies. The successful candidate will be able to apply this knowledge to his or her duties with a moderate to minimal degree of supervision.
Job Responsibilities
– Design and develop robust solutions to business problems
– Normalize and expand datasets focused on fundamental analysis
– Foster an understanding of client uses of content offerings by working with internal product groups to understand their data requirements
– Develop content strategy for new datasets being created by FactSet Fundamentals and ensure their successful release to market

– Provide expertise/support during all stages of content evaluation and development
Job Requirements :
– Enthusiasm, a strong sense of initiative, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy
– Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
– Commitment to the timely completion of tasks
– A proactive approach and a strong sense of initiative
– 3- 5 years of accounting experience is preferred
Highly Desired
– Experience in data analysis
– Experience with quality assurance processes
– Strong analytical skills
– General interest or knowledge of financial markets
– CPA or CFA certification
