Job Description: Responsible for leading the implementation of the new PBteen content & community online hub; leverage understanding of company and related industry trends to engage and enhance the brand community; drive innovation and grow traffic, sales and engagement.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Overall responsibilities

  • Work with manager to develop innovative and on-brand content & community initiatives to acquire and retain customers
  • Work with manager to manage brand presence on multiple social media channels; increase fans/followers and their engagement
  • Manage weekly and monthly reporting and analysis, including identifying areas of opportunity.
  • Monitor rapidly evolving technologies and partner with Product Management team to develop and implement new functionality
  • Follow and report on industry trends, best practices and competitive activity
  • Partner with creative team to develop compelling, on-brand content and assets
  • Support partnerships, events, stores and other key brand initiatives
  • Plan and execute contests, sweepstakes, and other campaigns

 

Stylehouse Re-launch

  • Plan launch of revamped Stylehouse, the current content & community micro-site on pbteen.com
  • Execute vision and strategy, including site layout, content and marketing both for launch and ongoing
  • Conduct competitive analysis  and determine best practices; conduct market research and incorporate key learnings
  • Manage editorial and production process, including seasonal updates, key features, and leveraging existing social media channels
  • Work closely with key cross-functional partners in creative, PR, analytics, merchandising, product design, and brand marketing
  • Drive creation of innovative, on-brand, engaging content and plan future strategy and features
  • Ensure appropriate success metrics and tracking in order to monitor and optimize performance
Requirements/ Qualifications:  

  • Minimum three (3) years of social media and/or content marketing experience
  • Editorial experience or knowledge preferred
  • Significant project management experience
  • Undergraduate degree required; concentration in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Journalism or related communications field preferred
  • Actively involved in social media space, with a proven understanding of how to use social media tools to effectively listen, communicate, and build relationships
  • Hands-on experience with online communities and social networking sites in a professional capacity, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, Instagram and YouTube program management
  • Technical understanding of existing digital platforms, emerging technologies, and integration strategies
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to successfully interact directly with customers and members of the community in a public forum
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish effective relationships with all levels within the company
  • Effective time and project management skills, with ability to organize and prioritize efficiently
  • Highly creative and self-motivated, with strong conceptual and decision making skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
