| American Institutes for Research seeks Technical Writers in our Washington, DC loc. Collaborate/design/author User Guides and Training Manuals. |
| Responsibilities: |
| Work w/ experts to develop content. Follow design, layout, + format of the docs using approved software. Test user documentation. Manage projects responsibly/on schedule. Anticipate projects + planning in development stage + communicate w/ Team Manager. Provide system diagrams, propose enhancements + explain software modules. Provide technical + functional requirements of new software modules. Some travel may be involved. |
| Qualifications: |
| Must have excellent oral + written communication skills, Bach degree or equivalent via a combination of degrees, certificates, and/or coursework in rel field and 2 yrs rel exp. Relevant exp. must incl writing functional requirements, software development, and database languages. (May undergo standard pre-hire background checks.)
