To enable this, the technical publications team plays a vital role in getting sellers up and running quickly and making sure that the details of our platform are clearly described as well as easy to consume and follow.

The ideal candidates have both a technical background that enables them to easily interact with software developers and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality technical publications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development and produce documentation for retail platform features
  • Independently follow designs and standards to develop and deliver documentation for the Seller Central website
  • Work with an editor on grammar, style, and form
  • Help define writing projects

Help assess market feedback on extending the consumption of our services

Basic Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years in a technical writing or lead writing role
  • Proven experience using and following MSTP
  • Proven experience designing and delivering online documentation
  • Experience using multiple documentation tools to develop base templates and manipulate output styles
  • Experience with XML-based publishing systems and document tagging
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in English, Technical Writing, or related field highly desirable
  • Some experience with web services and related technologies a plus
  • Previous experience working in an Agile programming environment a plus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience working directly with development teams
  • Strong grammar skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and open-minded attitude to resolving problems and delivering results
