Full-Time Technical Writer
Job Description
We’re after someone with experience in explaining technical concepts and processes to a broad audience. As the second hire you’ll report to the lead technical writer and also work closely with support, engineering, product management, and our QA teams to create and maintain support content that is concise, trustworthy and visually engaging.
Responsibilities:
– Produce and continually improve content for both Campaign Monitor and GetFeedback help pages, according to set standards for usability, findability, audience, style and terminology.
– Engage and work with key people on multiple teams to produce clear, helpful support content that respects our customers’ time and is plainly written, avoiding internal and industry jargon.
– Create, edit and manage the many screenshots of our products that are used in help documentation.
– Monitor and analyze content change requests, and user feedback, to identify areas for improvement that may increase customer satisfaction.
– Collaborate openly and effectively with the lead technical writer to: maintain records and archives of work and revisions; ensure currency of existing support content; help plan and deliver content changes in alignment with product releases.
– Manage your own content projects and communicate status proactively.
