Job Description: This position will report to the Business Development Director and be responsible for managing and implementing the social marketing and community development of cultivate.com, an online resource for kitchen inspiration and design.  Primary Responsibilities:

  • Craft, deploy and manage social content, campaigns, contests, and related events to drive brand engagement and on-site conversion
  • Drive social media strategy, including Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter audiences
  • Manage Facebook presence; leverage social media management tools and dashboard
  • Oversee consumer and trade community interactions with site; support designer and showroom account requests and issues
  • Track and report on relevant metrics 
  • Moderate and/or facilitate discussion forums with both Consumers and Trade Professionals (Ask & Share); Identify question/answer threads that would benefit from professional participation, and identify and invite appropriate designers to post qualified responses
  • Oversee all User Generated Content workflows: posting of new projects, profiles, images; identify problems and address customer service issues
  • Help drive and improve social/interactive features for site development
  • Liaison and partner with WSI eCommerce brands to promote Cultivate content and social marketing calendar

 

Requirements/ Qualifications:
  • 6+ years experience in online social marketing and community development; experience in context of an agency environment or consumer brand a major plus
  • Demonstrated success in driving engagement and conversion through social networks and on-site community best practices
  • Candidate must have in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios
  • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Context Optional or other social media management tools; proficiency in Excel
  • You are a creative self-starter, who is driven to work independently yet collaboratively as a team player; you have excellent verbal/online communication and writing skills, and have strong project management and organizational skills
  • Bachelors Degree required
  • Proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint
  • Personal interest in interior design or residential architecture is a plus
